The Role

Joining a small and expanding sales team in Munich, the Account Executive will join at an exciting new stage in their growth. Working closely with the Sales Director, this is a rare opportunity to be mentored by a very experienced and highly successful sales team. For the right person there is a realistic career path to an enterprise sales role in the medium-term.

This is a new role that has been created to accommodate a rapidly growing customer base and accelerating revenue. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Prospect mid-market organisations across south Germany and Austria to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, running the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Utilise known sales methodologies to understand the objectives and needs of customers and then develop solutions through the company’s offerings.
  • Ensure that revenue targets are met and over-achieved
  • Develop an expert knowledge of the AI cyber security platform
  • Research and understand the market including competitor analysis
  • Maintain detailed records in CRM and your sales pipeline to develop strong forecasting capability

About You

The successful Account Executive will most likely bring the following skills and experience:

  • Experience achieving sales targets in a technical sales role in software sales, most likely as an Account Executive, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, Corporate Sales or similar
  • Ability to sell to multiple stakeholders during a complex sales cycle. Previous experience selling to CISO, CIO or CTO contacts would be very interesting
  • A passion for problem solving and constantly improving sales knowledge
  • Happy to work independently at times whilst also collaborating with colleague across EMEA and the US
  • Good technical understanding and excellent presentation skills: you are excited by the growth opportunities in the following industries: network security; endpoint security; application security; security operations; incident response; threat intelligence; threat protection; identity management; fraud prevention
  • You are excited by the opportunity to join an early-stage and ambitious business
