Country Manager Netherlands

A European payments FinTech are on the cusp of explosive growth. They received funding of €10m in 2018 to propel them into new European territories and are looking for a Country Manager to join them in the Netherlands.

Currently, the business has 200 employees throughout Europe, 10+ employees in the UK, but they’re set to expand to 120 in just the UK by the end of 2019.

The business provides payment services including acquiring, ecommerce payment gateway solutions, digital wallets and issuing services. This is an exciting stage of growth within Europe; they’ve recently opened offices in London and Belgium with further expansion planned throughout Europe.

They are looking for a Country Manager to assist in defining the growth strategy for the Netherlands whilst building and growing the business in the market.

More specifically, as a Country Manager you will:

• Define the growth strategy for the Netherlands market
• Manage the P&L of the region, including steering the development of revenue
• Acquire, manage and grow the agency/trading desk and direct brand client portfolio
• Meet on a regular basis with key account holders in agencies to identify revenue streams and potential future business opportunities
• Support the data on boarding team locally by establishing data partnerships with both, large corporations and agile smaller companies across several industries (retail, hardware, etc.)
• Build and grow your team; sales, support and more

Requirements:

• Proven management experience within Sales and strong business acumen within payments
• Demonstrable experience in developing SEO presence through strong in-house operations, link and content development and outsourcing where appropriate
• An understanding of how to optimise search engine marketing spend
• Strong commercial understanding of internet marketing/advertising business models (CPC,CPA,CPMetc.)
• Experience of maintaining and growing business from an existing customer base
• Fluent use of the English and Dutch language;
• Ηands-on attitude and be highly numerate
• An outstanding “sales nature” with very strong communication & presentation skills
