Our client is on a mission to eliminate fraud within the world of ecommerce with a backing of $100m. Since 2013, they have been innovating fraud detection technology through machine learning combined with advanced cyber intelligence with behavioural and identity analysis.

Founded by former militant Cyber Security professionals, they have since grown to 150 people in locations in the UK, USA and Israel. Their rapid growth has largely been down to the ability to increase sales and reduce chargebacks at scale. This has enabled the company to sign up many of the largest e-commerce merchants and online travel agencies in the world.

They are now seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships, who has a track record of generating revenue through strategic partnerships. The individual will report into the VP of Business Development based in New York.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a point of contact and advisor on complex regulatory environment to position the business as the go-to fraud provider in the context of PSD2 and other European mandates
  • Source and negotiate with distribution partners – such as payment providers, ecommerce players, or system integrators
  • In conjunction with marketing and customer success teams, ensure existing partnerships are optimised for growth and partner satisfaction
  • The position has a matrixed operational structure and the individual will collaborate with colleagues located in Europe, as well as in Israel and New York, to help win partners and gain traction

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of business development or other related experience with a track record of successfully creating partnerships and driving revenue
  • Experience in the payments and/or ecommerce ecosystems
  • Experience in strategic Business Development in one or more European countries – we are counting on you to navigate a complex regulatory environment, aided by your experience and network
  • Excellent communication skills: you are a clear thinker, speaker, and writer; highly creative in messaging and visually presenting complex topics
  • Candidate must be located in Europe with ability to travel 20-40% of the time depending on business needs
