E-Commerce Corporate Sales Manager

The role holder is responsible for new business sales within with in the ecommerce team reporting to the Head of Ecommerce Sales UK. The person will be responsible for self-generation of leads, and growing relationships with partners who will support the growth of the business. This person will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, as well as supporting the vertical strategy.

Responsibilities

  • To achieve annual targets in respect of Revenue
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle
  • Market trends and feedback into the business of market direction within ecommerce
  • The company’s entire portfolio of products and services to mid and large sized businesses
  • Adopt internal methodology in order to enable open communication within the business
  • Attend internal forums for resource request and update CRM systems to reflect true activity
  • Forecasting and pipeline management
  • Interface with other internal departments

Requirements

  • Strong experience in the payment industry; Gateway and Acquiring sales experience is required, focused on new business acquisition.
  • Ability to sell within Mid Corporate and Large Corporate space sectors
  • Experience of managing complex sales cycles; proven track is expected
  • An understanding of the e-commerce sector including shopping carts and their operations
  • Building relationships with CXO’s and engaging with multiple stakeholder management within the decision-making cycles.
  • A business professional who is commercially and financially aware
  • An influential and highly effective communicator (verbal/non-verbal/written).
  • A person who has the ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
