Overview

My client is reputable European Payments Provider that has been enjoying sustained growth within its operating markets. Due to this success, they are looking to further expand into new markets across Europe in order to sell their innovative payment solutions directly to merchants. The role will report directly to the Ecommerce Sales Director of the business, and we’re looking for somebody who has experience in dealing with large e-commerce businesses. Within the role, you will develop the sales strategy of the e-commerce acquiring products and payment gateway, and have a lot of fun and flexibility along the way in doing so!

Responsibilities

  • You will implement the sales strategy of eCommerce services in your assigned region
  • Create and execute a strong and clear business plan to achieve the defined objectives
  • Prospect, monitor and close the opportunities of large potential customers of e-commerce services
  • Add and create an indirect sales channel through agreements with developers, consultants or integrators of solutions oriented towards e-commerce
  • Monitor the agreements reached with third parties to ensure the correct commercialisation and integration of the company’s products towards the distributors’ customer base.
  • You will capture the payment operations of the best e-commerce payment methods in the country, reach agreements with developers and e-commerce integrators with the aim of creating a distribution channel
  • Attendent to fairs and events in the e-commerce sector to generate activity and capture new business opportunities
  • Activity reporting, and pipeline monitoring

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or a relative discipline
  • A minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position in companies providing services oriented towards e-commerce
  • Technical knowledge of eCommerce tools and platforms
  • High level of networking in the eCommerce sector
  • German native and fluent in English
  • Availability to travel both inside and outside the country of residence
