Partner Manager

A reputable Fintech global payments platform is seeking a Partner Manager to join the growing team based in Mayfair, London.

This role is an exciting opportunity to delve into the world of Alternative Payment Methods (APMs), to join an award winning business that is leading the way in electronic payment infrastructure. Having recently raised $50m of investment from a US based payments business – their growth story continues – hence the need for a superstar to support their Partners.

This Partner Manager sits within the Account Management team and will be instrumental in driving long term revenue targets of the business and the company’s strategic goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Driving business results; you will ensure the achievement of revenue and share of wallet growth, profit and customer satisfaction.
  • Are able to grow the Partner based on a clear business strategy through additional revenue streams through upselling new solutions and additional APMs
  • You will form a strong relationship, embedding the business into the fabric of the Partner, and protecting the relationship.
  • Collaborative working internally, liaising with different departments with the aim to successfully grow and retain Partners
  • Innovative working – understand the Partners’ needs and see unusual ways of adding additional value to them.
  • Achieve revenue goals from PSP and Acquirer Partners within your set portfolio

About you

  • At least 4-5 years successful sales / account management experience in the payments industry (preferably in the APM space), building and developing relationships with existing customers or partners
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience in engaging and influencing senior executives.
  • Naturally persistent and tenacious, always following up and seeing tasks through to timely completion.
  • A team player – Must be able to collaborate, contribute and lead in a high calibre sales team and across the business, coordinating the appropriate resources to meet varying client requirements.
  • Understanding of cultural differences in doing business with international colleagues and customers.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Perfect written and spoken English skills; fluency in other languages (especially French, Spanish, Italian) is an added bonus
  • Smart, hungry, resilient and willing to ‘get stuck in’.
