Payments Sales Manager: Baden-Württemberg

We are working with one of Europe’s largest payment processors who are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their growing sales team. This is a very exciting time for them as the business is going from strength-to-strength, and growing considerably. In this position, the Sales Manager will win, maintain, and expand relationships within the assigned merchant segment in the Stuttgart region, channel, or market. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets and profitability and represents the entire range of company products and services (POS and/or e-com).

Core tasks:

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders in the assigned Key Account segment
  • Coordinates the involvement of additional departments (cross functional), including sales, customer service and management resources if necessary, in order to meet performance objectives and merchant expectations
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volumes and strategic objectives in the
  • assigned merchant segment
  • Proactively leads the relationship based on an individual business plan
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies and validates the merchant’s needs on a regular and ongoing basis
  • Sells to end users and ensures and maintains a direct and strong client relationship within the assigned merchant segment
  • Leads and develops solution driven efforts that best addresses the merchants’ needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary departments
  • Participates on trade fairs and conferences to enhance relationship and personal network
  • Fosters excellent communication, both internally and externally

Accountabilities and performance measurements:

  • Meets assigned sales targets
  • Adheres to defined SLAs, policies and competencies
  • Maintains high satisfaction ratings (internal and external)
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame


  • University degree in Business Economics or comparable commercial education
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented, able to handle stressful situations
  • Strong sales orientation – driven by results – and commercial awareness
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent in German and English
