Regional Sales Director – Cyber Security – Nordics & Benelux

Location: Stockholm/Copenhagen/Amsterdam

The Role

Joining the team at an exciting stage in their growth, the Regional Director will be responsible for leading an experienced and successful enterprise sales team across two key regions: Nordics & Benelux. This position will have a significant impact on the success of the EMEA region and will have extensive interaction with the wider leadership team, providing input into key strategic decisions. Key responsibilities:

  • Lead sales efforts across multiple regions: execute sales strategy, establish tactical plans required to identify, qualify and win new sales opportunities
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to direct reports by participating in and leading customer/prospect meetings, playing a strategic role in closing large complex deals
  • Recruit and coach an A-team of enterprise sales talent in cyber security to build on the existing sales footprint
  • Own and drive high impact strategies to support new market growth: ensure revenue goals are achieved
  • Develop a winning culture of continuous improvement through proactive actions

About You

In order to hit the ground running and be successful in 2020, the Regional Director will bring the following skills and experience:

  • Proven success as a Sales Leader at a cyber security vendor essential: you can demonstrate expert understanding of the current strategic agenda for CISOs
  • Experience leading sales teams in either the Nordics or Benelux regions essential. Experience working in both regions would be very interesting!
  • Expert at hiring, coaching and retaining enterprise sales individual contributors
  • Excellent communicator – able to convey executive presence with internal and external audiences, including the leadership team, customers and partners
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic and fast-paced pre-IPO software environment: a can-do attitude and the ability to execute with excellence and speed
  • Good technical understanding and excellent presentation skills: knowledge of the following industries would be beneficial: network security; endpoint security; application security; security operations; incident response; threat intelligence; threat protection; identity management; artificial intelligence; machine learning
  • Commitment to the cause and ‘mission first’ orientated
