Regional Sales Manager – Security Identity Platform – Germany (Financial Services)

The company:

An exciting, self-funded Pre-IPO cross-channel identity and orchestration platform designed to simplify, accelerate, and reduce the cost of identity-related projects, such as authentication, authorization, fraud prevention, and new account opening.

After experiencing increased demand for the innovative platform , they are looking to drive their footprint throughout the EMEA region.

The role:

A quota carrying Sales Director to be responsible for growth in the DACH region. The individual will have a history of sales success with experience managing complex sales cycles selling into financial services as well as relentless attitude with regards to hitting targets.

The Sales Director will be responsible for energetically championing the Identity Platorm as well as the responsibility of new customer acquisition across the region. Key Responsibilities:

– Developing a strategic sales plan to cover the accounts in the assigned territory in an effective and efficient manner.

– Manage lead qualification and conversion from interested prospects.

– Aggressively prospect and generate new relationships within named accounts in the financial services vertical.

– Consulting with and advising large, strategic Customers resulting in increased adoption, success and deployment.

– Some travel, as required, to prospects, customers or marketing events within territory (40-50% travel).

Required Skills/Experience:

– 5+ years experience in security software sales.

– Track record of success in Security Software or related business application sales

– Detailed knowledge of and passion for SaaS applications

– Strong technical background.

– Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

– Experience with web based conferencing tools such as Go-To-Meeting, WebEx, etc.

– Ability to work in a fast paced, environment.

– A passion to work in Security.

– Bachelors Degree highly preferred.
