We are looking for a Sales Representative to join a mainland European payments business to grow out their presence in the Belgian market. You will be joining as one of the first hires into the Brussels office, supported by head office in Greece.

The business was founded in 2000’s in Greece and provide payment services including business accounts, corporate expense management, ecommerce payment gateway solutions and much more. This is an exciting stage of growth within Europe; they’ve recently opened up offices in London and Belgium with further expansion planned throughout Europe.

The Sales Representative will be reporting into the Country Manager tasked with sourcing new business opportunities, meeting with prospective clients and closing business. Our client is due to undergo a further significant round of funding in March 2019 in £m’s to drive their international expansion. With this, progression within the business will be significant due to growth.

Key responsibilites:

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking;
  • Prepare presentations and solutions to prospective clients at meetings
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate/close deals
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support
  • Prepare sales orders & quotes, produce frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

What they’re looking for:

  • 2 years proven experience as a sales representative or relevant role;
  • A good understanding of information technology, particularly web-based applications;
  • Previous experience in banking sector and Card Terminals is a great plus;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Native speaker in at least one and excellent verbal and written communication skills in two of the following languages: French, Dutch and English;
  • A results-driven approach and strong self-drive, along with the ability to work under pressure to achieve sales targets
  • Valid driving license
