A leading FinTech FX business who have grown globally to 600+ people are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to join their ecommerce team at their headquarter offices in Central London.

One of the most esteemed brands within FX, they are a business who specialise in international foreign payments and partner with ecommerce businesses, larger corporate clients to provide a foreign exchange platform to secure better currency exchange rates.

Since their inception in the early 2000s, they’ve transferred over £60bn for individuals, small businesses and online sellers. They have 5 offices in the world’s biggest financial hubs.

They’re now looking to add to their ecommerce team to target online retailers and Amazon resellers in new business development.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for winning new partners targeting new e-commerce businesses
  • Prospecting new business via channels such as LinkedIn as well as utilising existing network
  • New business development calls with target prospects
  • Attending meetings with new business client to run through proposals of the foreign exchange technology and its benefits
  • Accountability to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets
  • Analyse the movements of competitors and assess their relevance to their own mission

Your profile:

  • 1-3 years of sales experience in sales or business development B2B environments – flexible on background
  • Must have an interest in foreign exchange and financial services
  • Ability to demonstrate sales success through winning deals and consistently overachieving or meeting targets
  • Dynamic and engaging written and oral communication
  • High attention to detail with the ability to simultaneously manage competing priorities
  • Ability to build relationships and influence cross-functionally; experience coordinating and leading executive level sales meetings
