Key tasks of the role

  • Identify and define strategic/sales opportunities within the Video & Music field
  • Drive forward the development of leads and prospects, cultivate client relationship, presentation of company services, analyse client needs, and negotiate contracts.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally regarding product strategy, market trend, technology and pricing with the intent of driving business expansion.
  • Responsible for business development planning which entails participating in trade shows, sales meetings and other special events
  • Prepare and present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new enterprise customers
  • Develop best practices in execution and reporting that will scale for continued international expansion and serve as a model for existing international markets
  • Successfully liaise, identify and close new deals to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients on a global scale
  • Manage negotiations, pre and post sales with customers – from start to finish
  • Convert opportunities into commercial success

Desired Skills

  • The successful candidate will have minimum 5 years of meaningful work experience within the music/video industry as sales/business development manager
  • Deep understanding of OTT landscape and strong business network at senior Executive level
  • Consistent record of successful negotiation
  • Passion, energy and drive to develop and grow a future-proof business program globally
  • Extraordinary business development and partnership management track record.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management capability with exceptional attention to detail
  • Flexible working attitude, with the ability to juggle priorities and to work in a constantly changing environment, whilst delivering highly professional service
  • Written and spoken fluency in English
  • Good German language skills are of advantage
  • Strong passion for mobile services – mobile payment, mobile commerce
