A UK-based high-growth SaaS business in the ERP/project & resource management space who are rapidly hiring. Gaining some serious momentum in the market they are on a growth trajectory to double their revenues to $1bn by 2020! This is also a business that prides itself on their collaborative culture where staff love coming to work and are extremely well looked after.

The Role

Thanks to continued growth and success, an exciting new opening has arisen for a Sales Manager/Director to lead the UK sales function from their London head office The sales team are responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tactics to expand market presence, market share and maximise conversion rates. There is also an internal sales team that will be responsible for helping to generate warm leads.

Responsible for a team of 8, key responsibilities will include:

  • Track and be accountable for overall team revenue number and productivity
  • Coach, support and train your team in sales methodologies
  • Work with your team to identify new opportunities and develop targeted sales pitches
  • Inspire, lead and create a positive and high performance culture and sales environment
  • Own your teams metrics & performance, ensuring accurate data is recorded on Salesforce and report upwards as appropriate
  • Recruit and build an awesome team of sales executives

Your Profile

The successful Sales Manager/Director will naturally have a proven aptitude for sales and high performance cultures and will most likely bring the following skills/experience:

  • Proven experience leading a fast-paced sales team as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Head of Sales, Sales Team Leader or similar
  • Experience working for a SaaS business, technology organisation or media sales business selling to SMB/SME & mid-market customers would be beneficial
  • You are an advocate for numbers and metrics in managing a sales floor and can intelligently identify areas for improvement
  • Ability to inspire trust and confidence in order to coach and develop your team
  • Prepared to go the extra mile and get the job done under pressure
