We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help our client accelerate their customer acquisition with merchants to use an innovative payment gateway solution.

The solution allows UK and European consumer finance merchants to securely process Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments via web, mobile and virtual terminal with improved collection rates and automation.

Founded in 2014, the business is at an exciting stage of growth. The Sales Manager will be reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer with scope to develop within the role and take on managerial responsibility as the team grows.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing new and existing partners with enterprise level e-commerce merchants in defined verticals
  • Win new sales and solution partners and develop them over the long term
  • Attending networking events including but not limited to conferences and events within e-commerce
  • On-boarding and training with new clients
  • Prospecting new business via channels such as LinkedIn as well as utilising existing network
  • Analyse the movements of our competitors and assess their relevance to their own mission
  • Capture and present merchant requirements in product enhancement and development in order to stay ahead of the relevance curve

Your profile:

  • 5+ years of sales experience to e-commerce SMEs to enterprise merchants
  • Sales payments experience preferred, but not essential
  • Experience working in a technology business and solution sales
  • Ability to demonstrate sales success through winning deals and consistently overachieving or meeting targets
  • Understanding of the complexities and ability to navigate a solution-focused partnership agreement to small and large organisations
  • Dynamic and engaging written and oral communication
  • High attention to detail with the ability to simultaneously manage competing priorities
  • Ability to build relationships and influence cross-functionally; experience coordinating and leading executive level sales meetings
