Sales Development Executive / SDR / Business Development Executive / Inside sales

Salt are currently partnered with multiple technology companies who are searching for the best business development individuals. It will be your responsibility to generate new business to feed into the senior sales teams. Acting as the initial contact for hot inbound leads and the face of the business to outbound communications it is vital you are a well-polished and well presented professional.
The current opportunities you could be considered for range from well-funded start-up’s whose disruptive software platforms are going from strength to strength to well established global organisations who lead the space they operate in.
Salary expectations between £28,000 – £35,000 on the base with a further £30,000 on top by hitting target.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce the solution to customers and identify appropriate buyers within the target market.
• Conducting a needs analysis and determine prospects pain points to determine how the offered business solution will solve those needs.
• Identify key buying influencers within prospects to determine budget, authority, need and timeline.
• Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
• The correct handling of inbound and outbound calls in order to qualify for senior sales team based on company specific criteria

Skills & Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience of Inside sales or Sales Development selling software to enterprise organisations.
• Proven track record in over-achieving targets
• Great communication skills, especially on the telephone
• Tenacity, resilience and creative thinking to find and convert new business leads
• Fast learner and always looking to learn and improve sales skills
