Salt are working exclusively with a FinTech scale-up who have attracted over $70m investment in foreign exchange and payments. They have grown to 150+ people across 3 international locations since 2012. They’re now seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to spear-head partnerships with accountancy software businesses and open banking focused FinTech’s.

Having recently received a £10m grant from the government they are seeking product partnerships to expand product offerings to clients. Please note that this is not a directly revenue-generating role.

The role comprises three key areas; market assessment, strategic relationship management and commercial oversight and will report into the VP of Banking within the product and marketing function.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess the market landscape for accounting software packages and other strategic partners
  • Build relationships with accounting software packages and other partners to advance the development and commercialisation of the product
  • Drive adoption of products
  • Conduct commercials of partnership agreements
  • Build and manage the end to end relationship with partners and account development plans
  • Arrange meetings with stakeholders in product, technology and sales
  • Continually review costs and negotiate cost reductions where appropriate

What they’re looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience in product management, product partnerships, commercial relationship management, and/or strategy role, ideally in Fintech or enterprise technology
