Talent Acquisition Specialist

How would you like to be the first UK-based Talent Acquisition hire in the for the next Uber Eats or Deliveroo?

Our client secured $70m Series C funding to boost their food ordering app into the European market. Already dominating in the US, Australia and some of Europe, they are looking for their first UK-based Talent Acquisition hire to be a pivotal individual in growing out the European market and beyond. This would include covering roles in the UK, Germany, Netherlands and Hong Kong and more.

You’ll be working globally reporting into the Global Head of People based in North America, but also partnering with every function of the business to drive the recruiting process. You will help build out teams to launch new markets around the world focusing on commercial roles including sales and operations predominantly.

Your profile

• The ideal candidate has successfully recruited for a fast-growing start up in expansion mode and is ready, willing and eager to take on the challenge of helping a business to grow
• You have extremely high recruiting standards with a focus on candidate experience at all stages of the recruiting cycle
• You will play a key role in partnering across the business on the best hiring, interviewing, and closing strategies

Requirements

• 4+ years of recruiting in a dynamic, high growth environment (either agency or in-house)
• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of sourcing and attracting top tier passive talent
• Stellar written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional ability to manage internal client relationships, leveraging strong consultative skills and an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
• Experience working in a data-driven recruiting environment with the ability to track and understand key metrics (conversion rates, etc).
