SVP – IT Transformation – London – £100,000+

Our client is a global business who specialize in turnaround, restoring performance and creating value across the business life cycle.

The IT transformation team are an element of the larger digital team and provide expertise to drive value from the technology they invest in, to ultimately improve business performance.

This role could appeal to experienced professionals that have held senior technology roles in corporate enterprise.

The SVP of IT Transformation should be comfortable with the following responsibilities

  • Take the lead or co-lead projects of all sizes, from strategy through to completion, with an emphasis on reconciling client requirements and scope with available resources and technology
  • Lead or play a team role in ensuring quality delivery on the client engagements in critical situations requiring rapid improvement
  • Lead and/or participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities
  • Deliver technical and consulting expertise in at least 2 of the following: Digital and Technology strategy, Product strategy and innovation, IT operating model, organisation & governance, IT cost reduction, IT strategic sourcing, turnaround of large scale “troubled” projects, operational due diligence, company separation (Carve-out) or integration (Merger) projects, IT complexity reduction, platforms/infrastructure consolidation

The SVP of IT Transformation should have all of the following qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of applicable professional IT consulting and/or IT organisation with software delivery or IT Infrastructure/Operations experience
  • A preference for industry experience in retail, TMT, automotive
  • Experience of delivering small projects and working across multiple work streams of larger projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation capabilities, with knowledge of prevalent tools, methodologies and frameworks
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA

The SVP of IT Transformation should have all of the following competencies

  • A passion for driving IT effectiveness and enabling clients to achieve their business objectives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace entrepreneurial environment
  • Contributor/participant to industry events/conferences
  • The ability to deliver expertise in critical and urgent situations, requiring rapid improvement
  • A highly collaborative approach with the ability to develop buy-in from a wide range of stakeholders
  • A focus on achieving success in individual and team projects
