– Software built from the ground up using in-house engineering team
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Global Operations team to assess data and reporting needs, develop business performance reports and dashboards to streamline the decision-making process
- Prepare internal market reports on market and industry trends to present with senior executives and directors
- Build operating and financial models to simulate different strategic opportunities for the company, and report on the results of these analyses to senior stakeholders
- Distill complex financial data from multiple data sources into simple unit economics models, and report on key unit economics metrics such as CAC, LTV, and PBP
- Drive and automate reports on user retention and behaviour, including cohort analyses and segmentation
- Identify and reconcile data discrepancies from disparate data sources, and work closely with relevant stakeholders (finance, product) to drive improved data architecture throughout the company
- Drive continuous improvement and automation in all finance operations within the company, including sales, account management, purchasing, and reporting
Requirements
Your Background:
- 4+ years of experience working in operations, consultancy, budgeting, or modelling
- Ability to build complex models off of simple, standard assumptions
- Strong attention to detail, including an ability to reconcile data
- Experience building models for growth-stage companies and understanding major revenue / cost drivers and sensitivity analyses
- Organised and professional demeanour and comfort working directly with senior stakeholders (executive and director level)
- Analytical mind and business acumen, including ability to digest complex data into simple reports and present findings clearly and succinctly to senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, mine, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Information Systems, etc.), or equivalent experience
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or management consulting is a huge plus
- Previous experience in the internet, software or e-commerce sectors
