Client Delivery Director – Events Platform – London

The Company

Currently in the process of securing series A funding, an innovative solution changing the way events are run in the UK, with the ambition of growing globally over the next few years.

A UK founded Start-Up with an office of 14 based in the heart of London, who build and deliver products that improve overall event experience whilst able to capture valuable data and insights in order to not only objectively quantify event ROI but also able to produce key action points on how to improve existing and future events. Wonderfully useful it seems for major brands such as Google, Deloitte and Britvic!

The Role

You will be responsible for leading the client delivery team, with the primary focus of all projects being planned, implemented and delivered to the highest possible standard for their clients. You will have been a proven leader across project and account management, with a track record in delivering complex software projects that involve multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Having a passion for process development that ensures profitable project delivery and process development, by taking ownership of the project management and event team and coaching them to provide a stellar customer service.

• Managing a small client delivery team made up of Event Project Managers and Event Account Managers.
• Coordinating team reviews and providing 1-to-1’s that improve each member overall performance.
• Managing recruitment and training of new team members.
• Managing the whole delivery process from weekly client meetings to complete app roll-out and implementation.
• Monitoring project GPM to ensure targets are met.
• Ensuring regular client communication with c-level executives to keep on top of client satisfaction.
• Developing necessary processes to ensure scalable, self service delivery of all products encompassing Project Management, Customer Support, Customer Onboarding and Customer Satisfaction.
• Providing input and specifications for necessary product updates to support and automate delivery processes.

The Candidate

The successful Client Delivery Director will possess the following skills and experience:

• Great knowledge of technology (preferably SaaS, Mobile or Apps) to lead conversations with non-technical stakeholders.
• Track record in delivering SaaS solutions to larger customer bases over several regions.
• Strong understanding of events and the events industry as a whole.
• Experience managing high performing teams across solution delivery, project management and account management.
• Structured, organised and meticulous approach to projects with excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional account management and customer service skills backed up with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable individual who delivers on promises, meets deadlines and remains calm under pressure.
