Technical Consultant – eCommerce SaaS – London

The Company

An exciting, innovative eCommerce platform, founded in the UK and continuously showing signs of rapid growth due to the strength of their solution! Specialising in merchandising, search and conversion, their product is trusted by a huge number of enterprise brands in the Retail and Fashion industry.

These guys are growing phenomenally, and have an outstanding team based in Central London. With further scope to grow, they are looking to add additional Technical Consultant’s to their, already intelligent, thought-leading Professional Services team.

The Role

They are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant; someone who is just as comfortable with web development (previous web development experience a plus), as they are with consulting and working with clients on campaigns and training of SaaS solutions, tailored to the client’s requirements. This is an opportunity to play an integral role in working with existing customers and new business prospects closely on a technical level.

You will be tasked on providing solutions using creative problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

• To identify key areas for integration of existing customers platform, through qualifying of custom solutions, allowing full functionality of platform.
• Consult with the client’s external teams as well as consulting with internal teams in Professional Services and Product.
• Research, design and implement a complex MarTech solution.
• Provide ideas and recommendations, following industry trends, in order to assist product and processes.

• Provided guidance to customers who are implementing solutions using the API.

The Candidate

The successful Technical Consultant will most likely bring the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years in a technical consultant capacity (Pre-Sales, Implementation, Solution Architect).
• Ideally coming from a junior web developer background, with strong knowledge in either: Python, Ruby, Java, PHP or Javascript.
• Bachelor’s degree required (ideally within computer science or a relevant field).
• Collaborative team member, with the ability to work on their own.
• Attention to detail.
• Comfortable with web technologies such as HTML, CSS or jQuery.
• Preferred background in SaaS, ideally within the MarTech/AdTech space.
