Principal Sales Engineer, EMEA – Marketing Attribution SaaS – London

The Company

A global SaaS business with over 2,000 employees are striving to piece digital marketing analytics alongside secure and safe communications with their end users for enterprise brands.

A public listed company, with fantastic financial backing, which is confirmed by its best-in-class portfolio of solutions, are growing their Digital Marketing Analytics function within EMEA. This is a brand-new role within the UK team with an impetus for owning a rapid-growing market for the company.

The Role

You will be the first and only person acting as the Principal Sales Engineer for the EMEA wide region, acting as an evangelist for the Digital Marketing Analytics platform for enterprise brands across key verticals such as Technology, Retail and Financial Services.

The product itself focuses around Market Mix Modelling and Marketing Attribution solutions, making it an essential 3rd party partner to AdTech and Media solutions. You will be a thought-leader regarding Unified Marketing Analytics, including both multi-touch attribution and marketing mix modelling.

You will be tasked on running workshops, providing pre-sales support, running events and being a subject-matter expert when it comes to the platform.

  • Qualifying a client’s needs based on driving factors and a business’s pain points.
  • Identifying and putting together a trusted solution based around the products the business can provide their client.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects, in order to work closely with their clients on their business’s requirements.
  • Work with Account Managers to define value and provide in depth propositions and project delivery.
  • Active participation in scoping and executing client Proofs of Concept (POCs).
  • Collaborative working with internal teams (technology, logistics, professional services, etc.) to help design and communicate best-fit solutions.
  • Contribute to the client acquisition and solution adoption through articulate demonstrations and consultative solution development.
  • Understand and participate in performance management processes.
  • Work with Delivery Consultants to design ad-hoc, innovative solutions.

The Candidate

The successful Principal Sales Engineer, EMEA will most likely bring the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Solutions Consulting/Presales/Sales Engineering role or Digital Marketing/Audience Intelligence Consultant or Analyst role.
  • Prior exposure or knowledge of Attribution Modelling or Marketing Mix Modelling solutions, including Audience Intelligence or Market intelligence platforms.
  • Familiarity with market research, statistical methods, big data, segmentation modeling approaches, and marketing concepts required.
  • Collaborative team member, with the ability to work on their own.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with web technologies such as HTML, CSS or jQuery.
  • Experience working on mid-market to enterprise deals across key verticals such as Technology, Retail and Financial Services.
