Sales Engineer – AI-driven UGC SaaS – London

A current global team spread across the US, EMEA and APAC servicing over 450 leading enterprise brands across key verticals such as Media, Retail and Hospitality to help identify their most powerful customer stories, whilst being able to get that authentic content in front of existing and prospective clients. With influencer marketing perhaps a dying trade, these guys are taking advantage of being able to push real life content.

The Role

They are looking for a true leader in Digital Marketing SaaS, who has the ability to pitch, strategise and optimise successfully with enterprise brands around their social and digital marketing, becoming an evangelist for their platform.

You will be the sole Sales Engineer for the team in the UK, creating, pitching and delivering best-in-class UGC solutions to CMO’s, Digital Marketing Directors and Head’s of Social. You will play an active, integral role in the delivery of the sales and customer success strategy by providing technical guidance during the pre-sales and post-sales process and scoping solutions based upon presented use-cases.

You will be tasked on providing solutions using creative problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

  • Qualifying a client’s needs based on driving factors and a business’s pain points.
  • Identifying and putting together a trusted solution based around the products the business can provide their client.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects, in order to work closely with their clients on their business’s requirements.
  • Work with Account Managers to define value and provide in depth propositions and project delivery.
  • Active participation in scoping and executing client Proofs of Concept (POCs).
  • Collaborative working with internal teams (technology, logistics, professional services, etc.) to help design and communicate best-fit solutions.
  • Understand and participate in performance management processes.
  • Provide technical guidance to customers attempting to leverage the Developer tools (REST API, Webhooks, Javascript API)
  • Work with Delivery Consultants to design ad-hoc, innovative solutions.

The Candidate

The successful Sales Engineer will most likely bring the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience a Solutions Consultant/Presales/Sales Engineer position within the digital marketing or social SaaS space.
  • A passion to serve the customer and genuine interest in sales processes, with client-facing experience, ideally sales engineering or customer support.
  • Collaborative team member, with the ability to work on their own.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Familiar with CRM, Marketing Automation, Business Intelligence and Social Media.
  • Comfortable with web technologies such as HTML, CSS or jQuery.
  • Strong understanding of API / cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in multiple verticals desired with a preference for Technology, Travel and Retail
