Privately backed and now a technology leader in the market intelligence space, they are revolutionising the traditional insights and intelligence industry into the digital economy.

The Role

They are looking for their first Senior Sales Engineer, EMEA in London, working across the UK and EMEA region. This will be an opportunity to own the technical relationships with key prospective clients owning both the SME market as well as the full enterprise solution.

You will have autonomy of working as the sole Solutions Engineer across EMEA, being the evangelist for the platform, providing technical subject matter expertise throughout the sales cycle.

You will be tasked on providing solutions using creative problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

  • Qualifying a client’s needs based on driving factors and a business’s pain points.
  • Identifying and putting together a trusted solution based around the products the business can provide their client.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects, in order to work closely with their clients on their business’s requirements.
  • Work with Account Managers to define value and provide in depth propositions and project delivery.
  • Active participation in scoping and executing client Proofs of Concept (POCs).
  • Collaborative working with internal teams (technology, logistics, professional services, etc.) to help design and communicate best-fit solutions.
  • Understand and participate in performance management processes.
  • Work with Delivery Consultants to design ad-hoc, innovative solutions.

The Candidate

The successful Senior Solutions Engineer, EMEA will most likely bring the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Solutions Consultant/Presales capacity within a fast-growth SaaS environment.
  • Ability to work on your own, with experience growing a key region.
  • Collaborative team member, with the ability to work on their own.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with web technologies such as HTML, CSS or jQuery.
  • Experience in multiple verticals desired with a preference for Financial Services, Travel and Retail/eCommerce.
