Solutions Consultant DACH – Digital Presence Optimization

Company –

I am working with a High-growth SaaS Vendor that offers the world’s most comprehensive cloud-based Digital Presence Optimization (DPO) software. They are looking for a Solutions Consultant to join their rapidly expanding global Presales team. With over 7,000+ companies using my client to optimize their content they have been named leaders in four major enterprise categories in the latest G2 Grids leader for SEO, Digital Analytics, Digital Accessibility, and Digital Governance.

Role –

You will play a major part in the DACH team, being the 2nd Solutions Consultant in the region. You will be primarily responsible for the technical relationships with prospects, working as a trusted advisor to remove technical objections and creatively address pain points in the prospect’s evaluation. Owning the technical aspects of the sales cycle and being responsible (with the AE) for discovery. As a Solutions Consultant will be able to explain complex technical concepts in a way that makes sense to business stakeholders and articulate the value of our solutions rather than features or functionality.

  • Understand and communicate solution messaging at both a technical and business level
  • Provide industry expertise and guidance to BDRs and AEs as well as prospects
  • Work with prospects to understand and develop their requirements
  • Deliver solution presentations and value-based software demonstrations
  • Present product offerings and architecture to prospective customers, to evoke confidence in their technology and infrastructure
  • Develop and present customised demonstrations based on prospective client requirements
  • Guide prospective clients to the merits and strengths of the platform and solutions
  • Assist Account Executives in the development of target account-selling strategies
  • Keep current on industry and technology trends
  • Keep current on competitive solutions and be able to articulate the differences, especially in technological capabilities, limitations and performance
  • Assist Account Executives in the development of proposals and crafting RFP/RFI responses
  • Articulate market requests and needs to R&D and marketing organisations in clear, concise manner
  • Organize communication between teams and external vendors to develop solutions

Requirements –

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a presales/ Consulting role or similar
  • Strong discovery skills
  • Proven technical proficiency – whether through previous job experience or through education
  • Ability to relate technical concepts to customers of all technical proficiency’s
  • Broad knowledge of technology trends in digital marketing
  • Understanding of how businesses operate, and industry trends relevant to a customer’s business
  • Team-oriented and strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in German
