Technical Account Manager

My client, a world leading mobile payments business, that enables over 1.5 billion people to purchase goods from global content providers, is looking for a driven and ambitious Technical Account Manager to join the team in Vienna, Austria.

We’re looking for a candidate who can take ownership of projects, lead technical discussions – by adding your own personal spin and flair – with the coolest customers around and supporting them with all things ‘technical’. The team is made up of over 20 nationalities and is young, dynamic and entrepreneurial. The team is very important, so if you are open-minded, and want a cool environment – then look further!

You will primarily be responsible for the technical advice and support to customers and will act as the first point of contact between the customer, sales and software engineering teams.

Your responsibilities

• You will lead the technical accessibility support of international mobile payment projects globally
• With your technical knowledge you support sales in the bidding phase as an active player and work very closely with the sales department
• You take care of configuration and customization of the mobile payments platform
• You drive technical development according to customer requirements, in close cooperation with IT & Software Engineering as well as product management
• You have an excellent overview of the business, monitor the market and analyse market trends within the mobile payments landscape

Your experience

• You will have completed education or training in a technical capacity, ideally with a degree in computer science, computer engineering or industrial engineering
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role will be an asset
• They are looking for techy-savy people, who have been working in another field with high interest in an IT-based environment
• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle Database) is an advantage
• You are both, an excellent communicator and a great team player
• Solution-oriented thinking and acting
• Service-oriented personality
• You have a high level of commitment, who is hungry to win, always looking to push own limits
• Excellent command of English language; German is a plus
