I’m working with an early stage FinTech startup to build out their Go-To-Market team in London – my client is looking for a Sales Director to expand the business across Europe. They were founded in 2018 in Israel, and

They have developed a sophisticated analytics platform for Capital Markets – this tool uses a combination of AI, Machine Learning and RPA to give banks visibility and control of their data.

Their solution is exclusively focused around one particular use case – as a result, they are able to very precisely address the needs of their clients at a more attractive price point than traditional vendors. In just 2 years operation, they have closed 7 $mio enterprise deals within the T2/3 banking space.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and sales calls
  • Proposal preparation
  • Negotiate variations in price, delivery and specifications
  • Support proof-of-concept process
  • Account management and expansion
  • Keeping abreast of current technology and functionality
  • Understanding the market and customer’s focus and needs
  • Staffing trade exhibitions and demonstrations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in value based selling enterprise application software solutions (application plus services). Ideally RegTech solutions to compliance/operational risk departments in the brokerage/banking/insurance industries.
  • Experience selling complex software with a long sales cycle
  • Ability to position the Company, its products and services in the marketplace vis-à-vis competitors
  • Contract negotiation skills and experience
  • Excellent communication (written/presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and customer-focused
  • Flexible and able to act under pressure
