The Organisation

I am exclusively partnering with a niche cyber security training platform that is looking to bring in an experienced VP of Sales to help them scale their B2B sales division internationally.

Since being founded in 2018 they have become the fastest-growing cyber security training platform, with over one million worldwide users. After high demand from their users, they have now introduced a business offering, which was released only a year ago. They have been rapidly scaling and are now working with over 200 customers ranging from Governments to Fortune 500s including Google, KPMG, and OLX.

The Role

They have developed a world-class product that supports educational institutions and organizations to deliver a better cyber security learning experience. They are looking to recruit a VP of Sales to scale their sales team to the next level of its growth.

As part of the founding sales team, you’ll be ready to roll your sleeves up in the short term but will leverage your sales leadership experience to develop and execute the long-term strategic sales vision. You’ll have experience building out a high-performing sales org in top SaaS names out there (preferably using Product Led Growth and Product Led Sales motions) and are now looking to leverage that experience to become a pivotal part of a mission-led startup with huge ambitions.

What are they looking for?

  • At least 4 years of SDR and AE experience in B2B SaaS. Not being afraid to get involved with the sales team, leading by example
  • At least 2 years experience managing a team, setting compensation and performance-based metrics
  • Experience building sales teams, including demonstrable learnings of what worked well, what didn’t, and why
  • Track record in defining and refining sales process methodology and tooling (inc reporting and modelling)
  • Comfort operating with ambiguous problem areas with a high degree of autonomy
  • Understanding and ability to evidence the use of data and insight as a lever and differentiator in sales opportunities
  • Strive to be both creative and experimental, and often go beyond the data to re-evaluate initiatives
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Has experience working in organizations that rely on Product Led Growth and Product Led Sales motions
