Head of Sales – High Growth Digital Start-Up

Greater London Permanent £70000 - £80000.00 per annum + 50% OTE & Options

A well-funded, online marketplace start-up in central London is in need of a Head of Sales to support the next stage of the company’s growth strategy.

They have recently closed their Series A with an impressive list of investors on board, and are ready to really scale – before they can do so they want to ensure that have the right people and infrastructure in place to support such high growth.

You will inherit a small but passionate B2C Sales Team and will help to triple the size of the team, acting as both a hands on Sales Manager as well feeding in to the high level strategy of the business working closely with the founders.

This role requires a real entrepreneur with vision, creativity and ability to innovate as well as the practical experience to build and deliver a successful sales proposition and the team to make it happen.

  • Experience working in high growth, high energy business
  • Experience scaling sales teams to 10+ members
  • Ability to define a Sales proposition – what it is, how to do it, how it is communicated
  • Experience selecting and implementing scalable processes, systems and tools to ensure success
  • Hiring, onboarding and mentoring high achieving sales teams
  • Input into the overall direction of a company, confidently communicating ideas and offering innovative solutions to new ways of working
  • Experience working in luxury travel, hospitality or leisure sector
  • Experience, understanding and interest in B2C Sales
