Job description:
Solution Architect / Lead Developer with a Software Engineering / Software Development background required to join a leading public sector Digital Transformation project

The successful candidate will provide architectural and technical leadership whilst defining the solution architectures for high profile, front-end public sector projects.

The successful applicant will be able to bring experience across the following areas;

  • Good knowledge of open source and open standards
  • Good knowledge of market leading vendor products and solutions
  • Initial understanding of architectural concepts, methodologies and approaches
  • Hands-on coding background
  • Good knowledge of design, design patterns and UML
  • Strong experience of leading development teams from a design and technical basis
  • Ability to assess quality and completeness of deliverables
  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience of both traditional and agile delivery methods
  • Lived in the UK for past 5 years to be eligible for security clearance
  • Worked on programmes and projects £1 million+
