Solution Architect – Integration Specialist – Digital Banking – Swindon

• Rate: £600 – £700 per day
• Length: 6 -12 months
• 1 day remote

My client has invested heavily on building its application integration and business process automation capability to realise a key component of its IT strategy. A 5-year roadmap for Integration involves focus on lightweight API based integration as well as migration of legacy integration and process automation technologies onto the newly introduced middleware estate.

Who we’re looking for

As a Minimum Requirement, You’ll

• Have significant Solution/Enterprise Architecture experience of which some of this time should have been in the Integration domain
• Have worked as an architect, designer or developer on Gartner quadrant middleware/API platforms (IBM, SAG, Mulesoft, TIBCO, APIGee, API Connect etc.)
• Have a deep level of technical expertise across integration technologies/standards/languages such as XML, SOAP, REST, YAML, SWAGGER, JW*, OAUTH, BPMN, UML, MQ/JMS, Java/.NET, microservices, SOA, IFW (or similar industry data models)

It Would Be Nice If You Also Had

• Experience working in a collaborative work environment; across delivery organisations, across time zones and using different delivery methodologies, SI partners and teams
• Experience in digital banking and/or retail banking process automation
• Experience in middleware infrastructure design including cloud hosting and dynamic scaling
• Experience in middleware security design incl. for microservices
• Experience in technology migration projects of middleware components
• Be educated to degree level in a Computing or business equivalent

• Process, service, rules Identification (RESTful, SOAP services)
• Integration non-functional policy identification and definition
• Integration solution UML modelling
• Message modelling / API resource UML modelling
• BPMN process modelling
• Integration design governance
• Contribute towards Integration IT Strategy, Roadmap
• End to end Integration reference architecture
• Integration patterns, principles, policies
