Tech Lead – Infrastructure – Permanent – Southampton

Technical Lead focusing on the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions required to join leading service integrator based on a client site in Southampton.

As the Infrastructure Technical Lead you will be working with teams onshore and offshore to deliver high quality infrastructure solutions, taking full ownership of the teams delivery.

In this role the Technical Lead (Infrastructure) will be responsible for;

• Low Level Design of complete infrastructure solutions
• Review of infrastructure design and costs to ensure they meet the customer and business requirements
• Lead delivery teams to implement solutions

Skills and experience required for the successful Technical Lead include but are not limited to;

• 10+ years in depth technical experience of windows server
• 5+ years technical experience of large IT infrastructures (more 5000 desktops/network end points)
• At least 5 year’s experience supporting enterprise solutions spanning multiple technologies: VMware, desktops, Intel servers, mid-range, storage, security, voice and data networks.
• More than 5 year’s experience of working in a structured ITIL environment with a demonstrable understanding of standard roles and processes.
• Subject matter expert in at least one infrastructure specialist area.
• Demonstrable experience of leading multi-disciplined technical teams

Certifications in any of the following would be highly beneficial;

• CCNA / CCNP Certified
• MCSE Windows Server 2008/12/16
• MCSE Exchange 2013
• VMware VCP 5
