Senior Customer Solution Engineer (Post Sales)

Salt are pleased to be partnered with an amazing Software company that help business’ move from legacy infrastructure into modern software environment utilizing the cloud. They’re now looking for a customer focused Solution Engineer to help deliver these solutions.

You will be responsible for:

· Working closely with the end client to help design business solutions for the mainframe upgrade project

· Installation of the Software Product which is a modern solution to mainframe’s

· Work closely with the internal development & QA teams to deliver the solution

· Create and improve the technical documentation

· Implementing best practices

· Providing customer support over Europe

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have the following:

· Knowledge of System Z principles

· Mainframe development languages such as COBOL, HLASM, REXX or PL/I

· Knowledge of C programming

· Linux administration
