DevOps Engineer – GCP

The job:

To help with our growth, we are looking for an excellent DevOps (preferably with strong DBA skills) to join our technical team and help us shape the future of an exciting, fast growing and dynamic company through a newly created infrastructure team.

Minimum 2 years professional experience with development is required.

Areas of Responsibility

· Support the technical team in their infrastructure needs.

· Help design, maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines.

· Monitor health of our infrastructure.

· Suggest infrastructure evolution to help increase scalability and ease of use.

· Minimise the risks of data loss or corruption through risk assessment and make recommendations to ensure sensitive, critical and confidential data is adequately secured to meet regulatory requirements

· Review and contribute to the information security policy and associated procedures and standards

· Manage data breach response plan

· Implement, monitor and maintain records of data breaches

· Ensure confidential data assets are tracked to support data breach reporting

· Monitor efficiency of data breach response plan

· Notify the supervisory authority of data breaches

·

· Facilitate the remediation of identified vulnerabilities for IT security

· Manage and monitor compliance with internal data retention policy

· Ensure erasure of excessive data

· Ensure that processes to securely disposal of data are always up to date

· Perform regular data discovery exercises to ensure all data is identified and monitored

· Manage legal and regulatory data security compliance requirements (GDPR and PCI)

Must have.

· Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration, Docker, Firewall and load balancer

· Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS or Google Cloud is a strong plus)

· Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service

· Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent

· TeamCity/Jenkins, SonarQube and Nexus management

· Knowledge of GIT or other Source Code control systems
