Lead Application Architect

The role

Reporting to the CTO and working as part of the Tech leadership team you will lead the Application Architecture design for *client*. This includes leading the architect team and the design for the “Alert Generation” “Alert Disposition”, “List Management”, “Alert Investigation”, “Reporting” and “Record keeping” capabilities.

What you’ll do

Key responsibilities in this role will include (but not be limited to):

* The definition of application architecture and solution design for each capability meeting the product requirements

* Quality Assurance of the solution design for all vendor application architecture

* Working with Product management and business users to translate business needs into Technology, solutions

* Lead the application architecture community including third parties and the delivery partner to:

o Select appropriate technologies to meet the product requirements

o High level target solution architecture design to enable vendors’ products to provide machine learning and entity resolution

o Review and agree proposed solution designs

o Provide detailed solution design and technical requirements/sheets to our cloud delivery partner as required

o Work with the scrum teams and product owners to ensure development blockers are resolved

o Review and provide collaborative input and support on the development and test environments to be built

* Work with the CTO to define and provide architecture guidelines

o Enable timely delivery of all development, test and production environments

* Present technical designs for approval via the Design Authority forum

What you’ll need

* Mature experience in Application Solution Architecture and design across the full product development lifecycle, with exposure to a wide array of technologies, methodologies, and business environments

* Minimum 5 years’ delivery experience developing and implementing complex technical solutions, ideally with a machine Learning capability

* Minimum 5 years’ complex delivery experience managing technical vendors

* Experience of working in agile IT development environments

* Experience Cloud Native Architecture and Solution Design, ideally within AWS

* Fluent in written and spoken business English

* Experience of working within an Agile Frameworks such as LESS and or SAFe and adapting to meet the way of working
