Lead Architect – Infrastructure

Lead Infrastructure Architect – £100k +

My client is a global technology consultancy. They work with leading organisations to implement industry leading solutions, platforms and drive best in class transformations.

Currently we are hiring for a Lead Infrastructure Architect.

Your responsibilities are below, applicants should be proficient in these areas too:

• Lead the HCL Design Team in developing and implementing the solutions
• Implement and run internal architectural governance to ensure the solution integrity during transformation programs
• Define Solution blueprints, lead the development of high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documents by working jointly with Technical architects and Subject matter experts.
• Work with colleagues to build solutions based on next-generation IT solutions spanning one or more of the following areas: Digital Workplace, Software Defined Datacentre, Converged Networks, Cybersecurity, Unified Communications, Future Mode Operations including Tooling and Infrastructure Services
• Review and approve Solution Architecture Solution Design for complete infrastructure solutions that meet customer and application requirements (including HLD & LLD)
• Create and maintain the Architecture Decision log and Artefact approvals, as it relates to the HCL solutions and services
• Lead large-scale Transformation programs from IT architecture and solution design execution activities.

You must have the experience below to apply:

• The right person will be highly technical and analytical whilst possessing over 10+ years of current solution architecture (implementation/consulting) experience.
• Certification in VMware, Microsoft, Azure and AWS
• Professional experience in architecting large-scale distributed applications
• Good high-level knowledge of IT infrastructures and architectures
• Experience in leading design and implementation of significant infrastructure transformation projects involving multiple technical disciplines ideally across various geographies
• Experience in producing multi-tiered, load balanced, redundant application infrastructure architectures.
• Ability to act as an evangelist for driving new technology adoption
• Fine to travel occasionally
