Team: IT Service Desk
Contract: 6 months
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Bedfordshire, Hybrid
More about the role:
The IT Service Desk team are recruiting a skilled 2nd line Technical Support Analyst to join them, working office-based and hybrid working from on a rotational basis.
This is a great time to join us as you will help shape our IT infrastructure around the Council’s transformation agenda. The successful candidate will be managing the business’ daily needs and providing ad-hoc support to teams working on some major transformation initiatives.
The required experience:
* Educated to A Level or equivalent and hold ITIL Foundation level accreditation
* Ability to demonstrate previous 2nd line analyst/technical experience preferably gained within a Local Authority or large organisation
* Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, Group Policy, Exchange and Microsoft Office up to 365
To succeed in the role it is important that you have the following:
* A history of exceeding targets and prioritising workload effectively
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Great customer service.
* Ability to demonstrate a high level of troubleshooting, logic and reasoning skills with the ability to be proactive, and a willingness to share expertise and support colleagues.
* A track record of delivering high-quality Service Management Services enabling standardisation, simplification, sharing and re-use and following agreed procedures to maintain the quality and consistency of the service
