Network Security Engineer (work from home)

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join the leading provider for Pre and Post graduate professional qualifications in Europe and the US. This unique opportunity will allow you to primarily work from home but you will be heavily involved in the teams in their London offices and will report to senior stakeholders both in the UK and the US.

The successful Network Security Engineer will be working as the highest point of internal escalation in a 3rd line capacity whilst maintaining standards, safeguarding the enterprise infrastructure and technical resources within data centres including other remote locations. Other responsibilities include mentoring the IT operations Centre and IT Security Operations Centre.

Essential Key Skills:

• Check Point Smart Centre Management
• Big-IP F5 Load balancing
• Bluecoat Proxy
• Cisco Meraki MX
• Security regulations – PCI and international Security Standards (ISO 207002)
• Strong Networking background – TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
• System Admin – Unix and Windows
• ITIL
• Internet tech/tools – SMTP, SSL, DNS, Tomcat, Weblogic

Qualifications:

Strong Network Security Engineering

• CCNA
• CCSP/CCIE/CISSP
