Solutions Archotect (Network Security Monitoring)

My client is kicking off multiple network based Cyber security projects in January 2022 and is looking for an experienced Network Security Monitoring solution architect to build out solutions and work with the project management team to delivery stages

Key skills

• Demonstrable experience as a Cyber Security Solution Architect ideally with previous experience of Network Detection and Response deployments in a large IT/telecommunications organisatio
• Example technologies EDR, IDS, IPS, AV, CASB, API Security, DDoS, SIEM, Firewalls, micro segmentation e
• Experience of AI/ML bigdata Security Analytics and Network Behaviour Analyti
• Experience of Cyber Defence Solution architecture for Telecoms focused Security Services e.g. Mobile Core, Radio Access Network, Voice and Data Service
• Netflow concepts and Flow Analytic
• Experience in a Security Operations environment utilising Security tooling such as a SIEM, Servicenow and developing Security Automation
• Broad understanding of Networking protocols, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, STP, Multicast, Qo
• Knowledge of business analysis/architecture tools and techniques, as well as knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent method awareness and real world experience.
• Knowledge of Cloud concepts and components including Openstack, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Contrail SDN, Heat templates, VNF deploymen
• Knowledge in monitoring of SDN, IP MPLS, Ethernet, Multicast and Voice Networks via various industry standard protocols like snmp, netflow and syslog
• Recognised security qualification e.g. CISSP, CISMP
