Technical Security Operations Manager

An exciting permanent role for a European telecoms giant who provide communication solutions for a host of customers across the European peninsula. Our client is looking to hire two Technical Security Managers to help maintain and buffer its international security posture.

UK based, with offices in London and Manchester, this role is open to experienced Cyber Security professionals. This role operates on a hybrid working system. If you fit the bill based off of the criteria below, feel free to apply!

TRAVEL BETWEEN SITES IS A REQUIREMENT FOR THIS ROLE.

EU EXPERIENCE DESIRABLE.

Essential Criteria:

• Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional Certification (CISSP).
• Proven experience with technical security controls including their cons.
• Experience managing internal policy breaches and unauthorised internal activity.
• Ability to define and deliver security controls.
• Led company drives for improvement of security processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of the telecommunications industry and its threats.
• Good knowledge of technical threat modelling, vulnerability identification and remediation management.
• Experience of working with projects and product teams to identify gaps in security controls.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to explain complex security jargon to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to make choices and drive action when faced with ambiguity.
• Exposure to Windows, Linux, Containers and Cloud.
• Exposure to Security frameworks such as NIST CSF.
