BI Analyst (SQL)

A fantastic new opportunity for a BI Analyst (SQL, PowerBI) to join a fast growing technology startup in the heart of London’s west end. You will join a company who have created a bank to serve an under-privileged demographic who are financially under-served and struggle to get the best offers or even a bank account. The company has already gained over 250,000 customers and is on a mission to provide a banking solution for the nearly 2 billion financially excluded globally with a simple, transparent retail banking model.

As BI Analyst (business intelligence, SQL, PowerBI) you will be tasked with crunching the numbers and processing the data but also be analytical in your approach observing patterns and communicating trends. You will work directly with the Head of Business Intelligence in a company expecting to double in size in the next 2 years.

BI Analyst (SQL, PowerBI) duties;

• Manage all KPI reporting and contribute ideas for deeper analysis
• Work directly with the development, product and marketing functions
• Support marketing by cleansing data and feedback analysis.
• Provide supporting analysis to feed into larger BI projects

BI Analyst (PowerBI, SQL) requirements:

• Previous experience working in a start-up or similar company to comfortably work in the environment.
• Excellent analytical/problem solving skills
• Strong SQL and Excel skills are essential
• Come with either an interest in financial services of data science. We’re looking for people who are curious about how things work
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau, however this isn’t essential
• Programming experience with R or python would be an added bonus.
