Power BI Developer

Greater London Contract / 3 months £300 - £350 per day

Power BI Developer – London – 3 month contract – ASAP start

My client is looking for a Power BI developer to join a long term engagement for a leading global company. You will be working with a strong data team on power BI dashboards, creating solutions for the client.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating data-driven, innovative data models & visualisations
  • Designing reports and dashboards with modern approaches
  • Filter data, review data reports and performance indicators to identify coding or query problems
  • Identify process gaps and work cross functionally to formulate improvement planning

You will have the following experience:

  • Power BI dashboard development
  • Knowledge of other visualisation tools such as spotfire
  • Strong experience in an agile team with scrum methodologies
  • Expert knowledge in Excel required
  • A working knowledge of: STATA, HTML, CSS, Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Hadoop, and Azure Stream Analytics a plus
  • BI data tools is an advantage
