A unique opportunity has presented itself for a Business Analyst (SQL, JIRA) to join an organisation responsible for collecting music data all over the world. The data forms the official music charts and charts of leading musicians based on sales and downloads both domestically and globally.

Have you ever wanted to know how many sales Ed Sheeran has made? Have you wanted to learn what songs lead and dominate the global charts? Did you want to know who has the biggest market share in the music industry? Whatever the question, it will be you providing the answers!

Business Analyst overview;
As a Business Analyst you will be working with lots of data and joining a company at a time where they need your expertise to help build systems and automate processes. Right now, a lot of the information is manually uploaded in spreadsheets and we need a Business Analyst who has a deep technical understanding of what it takes to process large volumes of data. At the same time, you will be influential in driving automation and help to improve efficiencies to ensure the data gets to the people its needs to in the time required.

Key requirements;

• Previous experience in a Business Analyst capacity motivating others and leading change.
• Great communication skills as your stakeholders will be senior figures across the music industry.
• Technical skills using SQL and visualisation packages such as tableau or PowerBI (advantageous not essential)
• An understanding of what it takes to deliver requirements to change systems and help automate work flows in a data driven environment.
