Data Analyst

Data Analyst | inside IR35 | 6 month contract | £350 per day

Location: Remote first + Edinburgh or Manchester 2/3 days a month

Skillset:

MI / Data Analyst with 2+ years working on Tableau

Some experience of Snowflake would be beneficial but not completely essential

Experience of using SQL and Access

MI reporting knowledge.

Role overview:

Contribute to the analysis of complex organisational, franchise or function data to identify business issues and opportunities, supporting the delivery of high quality business solutions

Role Deliverables:

Provide high quality analytical input to support the development and implementation of innovative processes and problem resolution

Support with a number of large, complex and critical projects

Undertake analysis of data to identify business issues and opportunities

General Duties:

* Perform data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis

* Utilise an in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of data and multiple data domains

* Develop and perform standard queries to ensure data quality, identify data inconsistencies, missing data and resolve as needed

* Collect, profile, collate and map appropriate data for usage in new or existing solutions as well as for on-going data activities

* Help to interpret customer functional and information needs and turn them into functional or data requirements and process models

* Identify and document data migration paths and processes, standardising data naming, data definitions and modelling

* Utilise our standard processes by understanding the development lifecycles and minimum mandatory requirements

* Complete all mandatory training and accreditations as applicable to your role and your team

* Support improving team and customer performance by role modelling our service behaviours, standards and adoption of our tools and techniques

* Operate within our people processes and policies

* Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with key business stakeholders

* Provide analysis of more complex or pan group data

* Conduct and Line of Defence

* Comply with Our Code, Purpose, Values, and relevant Policies

* Respect relevant regulatory obligations and Conduct Rules
