Salt are excited to be partnered with a global marketplace business who are going through a huge digital transformation which has been accelerated due to the pandemic, and they are now looking for new Solution Architect’s to join the business. Their digital transformation is all about using technology to develop and release new products to their customers, both B2B & B2C, and utilising cloud technology.

As a Data Architect you will be focused on establishing Data reference architectures, enterprise data designs and data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Overall responsibility for data architecture and design to align with the business’s IT strategy

· Help to translate data to actionable insights by identifying appropriate analytics tools and techniques

· Provide leadership via stakeholder management / engagement and working closely with the development teams to deliver projects / solutions

· Reduce the time lines of delivery whilst focused on efficiency’s and quality

· Ensure architecture if designed and delivered appropriately against the business requirements and reporting back on progress to the business

· Leading from the front in driving technology transformation

They’re looking for someone who has:

· Significant experience in Data Architecture within a large organisation

· Great stakeholder management and engagement skills

· Strong communications skills and confident in working with senior stakeholders

· Knowledge of relational and NoSQL Databases

· Understanding of data streams – Kafka
