Data Engineer

A Global leading Client is currently recruiting for a Data Engineer that has experience with SQL, using apache spark in an AWS environment and (Java/Scala or Python). 6 month rolling contract, based in Germany paying up to 550 Euro’s per day.

Experience and skills required for the Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Data, AWS, Amazon Web Services, Java/Scala, Python, Apache Spark, SQL

• Develop Big Data pipelines using Apache Spark in AWS environment.
• Develop ETL pipelines using traditional ETL tools such as Alteryx.
• Automate processes by implementing CI/CD in Jenkins.
• Have the passion and ability to write clean, readable, well-designed and well-documented code along with tests.
• SQL is essential
• Understanding of data warehousing and data modelling
• Ability to develop in Java/Scala or Python
• Experience with AWS environment
