Data Engineer

My Nottinghamshire based client is looking to recruit a Data Engineer on a 3 month contract. You will be working for a data lead organisation that is constantly expanding.

Your role is to enhancing existing and delivering new insights into how the clients partners are using their platform. Data, pulled from operational SQL sources, is transformed through a reporting data warehouse (RedShift) and exposed through their partners’ portal. You will focus on our underlying data warehouse and data import. The client is aiming to increase the refresh interval, introduce robust testing practices and optimise as needed.

The Portal team work in 2 weekly sprints. They are primarily home based but aim to get together in the office at least at the start of each sprint with most the team in every Thursday. So hybrid working/willingness to go into their Nottingham office is key.

– C#. The rest of the solution has a .net backend so these skills will help understand and work with the rest of your team
