My client are looking to bring on a Data Engineer for a year-long Contract based in Chiswick London. The role will revolve around the migration of a previous platform to a new in house one. This will involve moving Data from the Data Lake repository to the new platform and enabling all of the new queries match with the old ones to ensure a clean Data flow

Essential skills:

• Extensive SQL experience
• Redshift
• AWS Stack
• Presto would be a plus
• More than 3 years working in a BI environment
• Proficiency & advanced level understanding of MS Excel is a must
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (RedShift, S3, EC2, EMR, etc.)
• Working experience/certifications in Agile (Scrum) and/or Lean (Kanban) delivery frameworks preferred
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter who is able to make decisions and get on with the work put in front of them in a clear, concise and methodical fashion
