Responsibilities:

• Work effectively with engineers, researchers and data scientist to design, build and maintain scalable data architecture. This will include real-time data systems and pipelines.
• End to end responsibility for databases and tools used by the team.
• Automating data extraction, loading, transformation, storage and visualisation of different types of performance, content and data

Requirements:

• Comfortable handling large datasets using SQL, Python and Java/Scala
• Experience with “big data” toolboxes such as Hive, Kafka, Hadoop etc.
• Query optimisation and data modelling expertise.
• Experience in building and working with ETL pipelines
• Knowledge of data visualisation frameworks
• Experience with continuous integration, configuration and documentation management
• Experience in Computer Vision or Deep learning will be ideal.
