Data Science Consultant – Insurance – London

My client is a leading global consultancy who are looking for talent across Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Data Science to be part of a unique business unit.

This exciting new team is focused on revolutionising the Financial Services industry through Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Digital Transformation. The focus is predominately in the Insurance and Asset and Wealth management spaces. This internal start-up is headed up by reputable trail blazers and they are looking for data science talent to be part of this exciting journey which continues to yield success.

We are looking for both Consultants (1-3 years experience) and Senior Consultant (3-6 years).

This is a great opportunity to come in at the ground floor and gain fast track career progression as the business goes from strength to strength. The business also invests heavily in personal and career development.

Requirements include:

• Experience in the Financial Services (Insurance or Asset and Wealth Management experience is a bonus)
• Experience across relevant Financial Services Regulation – for example: EMIR, AML, Dodd-Frank, Solvency II, GDPR etc).
• Solid expertise across advanced analytics, Building models in R, SAS and Python
• Strong SQL skills
• Understanding across Data Governance

• Experience across building AI/Machine Learning models is also a plus.
• Experience in Big Data
• Understanding or exposure to AI and Cloud Platforms
• Ability to be client facing and understand the business implications of technical solutions.
